This is London

      London is the biggest city in Britain. Over seven million people live and work in London. London is also  one of the most important cities in the world. It is a centre for business and tourism.

This book contains various information such as tourist information about London.  For example, there is information on transportation that can be used when traveling, recommended places for shopping, and introductions to bars and clubs. 

There are many pictures and maps inside, which made me want to go to London.  What impressed me especially was the London Bridge.  In the book, a photo of this London Bridge lit up at night is used.  It's very fantastic and beautiful.

London is world famous for its shopping. Oxford Street is London's main shopping centre. Selfridges is a well-known department store on Oxford Street.

 And the appearance of Harrod, the most famous shop among them, is very beautiful at night.  The moment I saw this photo, I really wanted to see it.  This book is a wonderful book that not only gives you knowledge about London, but also enhances your desire to go.  If you are interested in London, please read it.

Australia and New Zealand

 

     I read a book called Australia & New Zealand.  This book introduces the features and charms of Australia and New Zealand.

    What kind of country is Australia?  Firstly, Australia is big-7,686,848 square kilometer res.  In fact, only five countries in the world-Russia, Canada, the United States, China, and Brazil are larger than Australia.   

Australia has the opposite season to Japan and is one of the least populated countries in the world.  The feature is that there are many dry places. Sydney, the oldest and largest city, is Australia's business hub.Read this book to discover the charms of each Australian city.

     Of particular interest was the Great Barrier Reef, the longest coral reef in the world.  It is a very popular place for tourists to swim in the warm and clean water and to see fish and coral on a boat.  It is also the place where the beautiful turquoise stone called opal was first discovered.  As you can see, there are so many places in Australia that are rich in nature, and there are many places that I really want to visit.  Beautiful photographs were used here and there in this book, which made me want to visit more. 

New Zealand is a long way from everywhere-three hours by plane from Australia, and about twenty-six hours by plane from Britain.  It is a country of islands; the North Island and the South Island are the main ones, and there are many smaller ones.

New Zealand is an island country located 3 hours by plane from Australia.  With a population of only 4.1 million, New Zealand is home to many lakes and rivers where you can enjoy beautiful beaches and water sports. Auckland, the most populous city, has two ports in the west and east.  Such Auckland is also known as the "city of sails", and there is also a modern business center with many skyscrapers. 

     One of New Zealand's most fascinating places to read this book is the Marlborough Sounds.  This place is perfect for voyages, walks or cycling and is a must-visit when traveling.  Further west, there are two glaciers.  At this location you can see the glacier up close or even reach the top of the glacier.  In addition, I felt that New Zealand's beauty is that you can see waterfalls, take a boat to see mountains and forests, and experience nature.

　　 I have explained each land in this way, but various situations in the country, including these, are changing year by year.  I think it is important to learn about the history and goodness of other countries through such books and to foster the desire to see for yourself.
